A bread machine can make bread, but it cannot teach someone how to bake. The same principle applies to AI. Why true AI literacy has less to do with mastering tools and more to do with mastering how you think.

In education, learning progression matters. Students do not develop mastery simply because they were shown the final system or given the answer key. Competence develops through repetition, adjustment, feedback, recognition of patterns, and gradually learning how to evaluate their own thinking along the way. Many organizations unintentionally skipped that stage.

Making quality, intentional training available for the workforce is no longer a luxury we can afford to ignore. Asking members of your organization or team for all the “cool” workflows and systems without directly teaching them the stepping stones required to get there is not only unfair to them, it is also dangerous for your organization.
